While church attendance and religion is in decline in many parts of the US, there are some states that are showing an inverse tendency, namely Florida. Church attendance is growing at a steady pace "In 2010, about 40 percent of residents of Miami-Dade County were connected to a religious group. In 2020, that was 52 percent". If this date holds up, you have another interesting essay to write about - why some states are seeing a renaissance of religion adherence and others are not. I wonder if there might be a similar phenomenon happening in Canada.

A big difference between this ideology and others is how it brings no joy to others. It's probably one of the most joyless, humorless ideologies around. It makes Mormonism look like Epicureanism by comparison.
